We, the Hungarian Society of Precision Agriculture respect the privacy of the users of our website and are committed to protect the personal information that Users may share with us. This Privacy Statement describes our practices regarding the collection, use and disclosure of information which we may obtain when you visit our website from which you are accessing this Privacy Statement or when you participate ECPA 2021 Hybrid Conference carried out by us on the Site. This Privacy Statement also describes your choices regarding the use, access and correction of your personal information.
Collection of Personal Information
The information collected directly from a user may include the following information: the participant’s name, affiliation/company name, position, country, email address, phone number, ISPA member number, dietary requirements, invoicing name, address, VAT number, postal address, name and email address of the contact person for invoicing.
This personal information will be used for communicating with you about the ECPA 2021 Conference.
We will share your information with the accountants who assist us in carrying out the registration of the Conference.
ECPA 2021 Organisation Committee may share personal information with third parties engaged to assist us in providing services to you or to carry out one or more of the purposes described above. These service providers are prohibited from using your personal information for any purpose other than to provide this assistance. For example, we share your information with technical support, so the Hybrid Conference can be organised. In this case, we provide limited access to your information so that such service provider can perform the tasks on our behalf.
Authoring Resources or Speaking at Programs
If you choose to participate in our Conference you accept that photos and videos will be taken during the Conference and will be published on related Media. This will be a hybrid conference, therefore the organisers might share the video of the presentations to the registered participants during the online streaming and 2 weeks afterwards.
ECPA 2021 Organising Committee owns and maintains the copyright of the written resource, recordings of the programs, and any subsequent written materials provided with the program, including the submitted biographies.
We may retain your personal information for as long as it is relevant to our business purposes or until you request that we remove it.
We endeavour to keep your personal information confidential and protected against unauthorized access, loss, misuse or alteration through the use of appropriate administrative, physical and technical safeguards. The information about each user is stored on systems that are subject to appropriate security measures, and we limit employee access to such information.
What do we do with your personal information?
The ECPA Organising Committee uses your personal information to provide you with details of the ECPA 2021 Conference, programs or news that we think will be of interest to you. We may also use the information to process any internal administration and analysis.
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to third parties.
How We Share the Information We Collect:
If you attend the ECPA 2021 Conference, we may publish some of your information.
Those, who agreed to share their name and contact information (name, position, organization name and email) will appear on the list of participants of the Conference circulated to all participants.
Those who agreed to share their name and contact information (name, organization name and email) with the organisers of the next ECPA Conference may receive information on the next conference.
We may share your contact information with the Session Chairs of the conference to assist them with the duties of planning and organizing the meeting. We may also publish information such as attendee names, education or professional background, or photographs in the material produced by The ECPA Organising Committee, and photographs of meeting interactions may be used in our marketing literature. Additionally, we may publish this information for Board Members, the Scientific Committee, and other people who participate in programming the activities.
Your Rights and Choices:
You have choices regarding our use and disclosure of your Personal Data. If you no longer want to receive emails and information regarding the Conference from us, you may contact us at ecpa2021@ecpa2021.hu . We will try to comply with your request(s) as soon as reasonably practicable. Or, if you would like to review, correct, or update Personal Data that you have previously disclosed to us, you may do so by contacting us.
Photography & Filming:
Due to the hybrid conference, there will be photographers and video production taking place during the conference and will be published on related Media. With the registration to the ECPA 2021 Conference you accept that the organisers might share the video of the presentations to the registered participants during the online streaming and 2 weeks afterwards.
Security:
The security of your Personal Information is important to us, and we strive to implement and maintain reasonable, all the acceptable security procedures and practices appropriate to the nature of the information we store, in order to protect it from unauthorized access, destruction, use, modification, or disclosure.
However, please be aware that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and we are unable to guarantee the absolute security of the Personal Information we have collected from you.
